Nigel has booked our Christmas Dinner at Shelleys Hotel in Lewes for Friday 5th December. Shelleys is at 135 High Street, Lewes, BN7 1XS, tel: 01273 472361. We were well looked after last year and Lewes has the advantage of being centrally located in Sussex. Shelleys offers accommodation. Overnight rates for B&B are the same as last year of £110 for a standard room and £140 for a superior room. Please mention that you are attending the Aston Martin Dinner as these rates are lower than their web charges. Dating from 1588, Shelleys is Grade 2* listed and is in the centre of the historic market town. We shall have a bubbly reception at 7.00pm followed at 8.00pm by a three course dinner with wine, plus coffee or tea and mince pies afterwards. The cost will be the same as last year at £39 per head. We shall have our usual raffle in aid of a charity and we will vote to award ‘The Over Cooked It’ trophy to a member who has raced, displayed, used or improved his/her Aston. Contact Nigel or Gary to book your place.
